QBWC: Web Connector Troubleshooting Integrated Applications:
The integrated applications area of Quickbooks is where all of the third-party applications that have been granted access to your company file exists. If there are other older applications in this location that you no longer use it may be best to remove them. On the rare occasion, you may have the wrong third party software running on your Quickbooks Web Connector.
If you have moved your company file or have created multiple company files the Quickbooks Web Connector may have errors and not sync. Sometimes by removing JobNimbus from integrated applications and re-adding it through the Quickbooks Web Connector allows the Web Connector program to function. This may also be an option if you selected the wrong settings.
In order to successfully remove an application from the Web Connector, you need the same company file open. The web connector can store connections from Quickbooks from different company files which can lead to confusion. It also can store connections from different versions of Quickbooks as well. For example, an older version of Quickbooks Premier and a newer version of Quickbooks Enterprise.
In Quickbooks Desktop:
- Integrated Applications
- Company Preference
After removing JobNimbus from Integrated Applications go to the web connector and remove the connection. On the Application area of the Web Connector note, the name "JobNimbus" is the name of the application where the company name is in italics below it. Make sure your company file that is open is the same name.
- Update Web Services
- Select "Remove"
If you are unable to remove the application from the Web Connector you can do a forced removal. See further reading from Intuit and Microsoft. Exhibit extreme caution when deleting keys, make sure you are are deleting the correct one.
