For those customers based in the United States, you may be required to pay sales tax with your JobNimbus subscription payment per local ordinances and state laws. For this reason, the eligibility for sales tax charged will vary from state-to-state.
If a state determines that JobNimbus has a sufficient-enough presence, it may determine that our services are taxable, requiring us to charge sales tax.
Currently, we charge sales tax for subscriptions based on the primary company location found within an account's JobNimbus Settings in any of these states:
Charitable, religious, scientific, or educational organizations that identify as being tax-exempt must submit the proper documentation in accordance with their state's guidelines to JobNimbus. To establish a tax-exempt status with your state, please consult with your state laws and local ordinances, or speak to a financial professional such as an accountant.
Required Documentation by State
For tax-exempt organizations in the state of Utah, you can submit a completed copy of the Utah Exemption Certificate (TC-721).
Once completed, please scan and email a copy of the form to email@example.com. Please include a subject of "Tax Exempt Certificate for Utah." Within the body of your email, include the name of the company and email address tied to your JobNimbus account.
