[Analytics](https://support.jobnimbus.com/reports?hsLang=en#analytics) # How do I Navigate Analytics? ## Learn how to navigate the JobNimbus Analytics tool. ### **Opening Analytics** - Select the **three-line menu** in the top left of the page and select **Analytics**. ![](https://support.jobnimbus.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202026-09-18%20at%202-18-53%E2%80%AFPM-png.png?width=271&height=274&name=Screenshot%202026-09-18%20at%202-18-53%E2%80%AFPM-png.png) Analytics may already be pinned to your top navigation bar, next to your other page buttons. If so, select it there instead of opening the menu. It shows every pre-built JobNimbus dashboard as a card, with a short description of what the dashboard shows. The most-used dashboards are listed first, and new dashboards are pinned at the top with a **New** badge. ![](https://support.jobnimbus.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202026-10-13%20at%203-00-05%E2%80%AFPM-png.png?width=670&height=481&name=Screenshot%202026-10-13%20at%203-00-05%E2%80%AFPM-png.png) On Analytics Enterprise, Analytics opens to your **Company** folder instead of the landing page, so your custom dashboards are right there. To see the pre-built dashboards, select **Dashboards** in the menu. A report opens as a Dashboard, the read-only view of its Charts, the individual tables and visualizations in the report. You can also add a new filter and choose from nearly any field related to the report's topic, not limited to the preset filters shown. ![](https://support.jobnimbus.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Screenshot%202026-09-18%20at%202-14-06%E2%80%AFPM-png.png?width=670&height=86&name=Screenshot%202026-09-18%20at%202-14-06%E2%80%AFPM-png.png) - Assignee data on Jobs and Contacts is now available to filter and report on, shown as a readable list of names. - Internal notes added to an Estimate are now available as report data and can be added to a dashboard. - The Analytics AI chatbot in the bottom right corner, if your plan includes Analytics AI ![](https://support.jobnimbus.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Sep-18-2026-08-36-21-0287-PM.png?width=71&height=70&name=image-png-Sep-18-2026-08-36-21-0287-PM.png) If your access profile has **Hide Cost** enabled, the Charts and columns in a report don't display cost, margin, or profitability data. **Note:** On Analytics Enterprise, you can also open a report's Workbook, the page where you build or edit its Charts. ### **Using the Chart Options Menu** ![](https://support.jobnimbus.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jul-14-2026-06-42-18-3580-PM.png?width=199&height=243&name=image-png-Jul-14-2026-06-42-18-3580-PM.png) Hover your cursor over a chart to reveal a three-dot menu, and select the three dots to view additional options. These include: - **Explore:** This option shows the data included in the chart, and allows you to edit what is included by selecting or deselecting options from the menu on the left. - **Ask a Follow-up Question:** Opens the AI chatbot where you can ask clarifying questions. - **Download:** Allows you to download the data in the chart. - **Alert:** Sends an email alert to let you know if a condition is not fulfilled for a scheduled report to send successfully. - **Schedule Delivery:** Schedule deliveries of reports to your inbox. - **Explain:** Circle an aspect of the chart and prompt the AI chatbot to explain it further. - **Filters Applied:** The number of filters applied to the report chart. Select this option to view which filters are applied. - **Query Ran...:** Shows when the report query was last updated.   **Note:** Reports are updated every hour. If a change in the data occurs, it reflects the change one hour later. Ask a Follow-up Question and Explain use the Analytics AI chatbot, so they're available only to accounts with Analytics AI or Analytics Enterprise. ### **Viewing Data Across Linked Accounts** If your company has more than one JobNimbus account linked under one organization, Analytics Enterprise can show data from all of them together. 1. Select your account name in the top right dropdown under Analytics. 2. Select **All accounts**. ![](https://support.jobnimbus.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Oct-14-2026-09-30-13-9137-PM.png?width=269&height=188&name=image-png-Oct-14-2026-09-30-13-9137-PM.png) Every dashboard now rolls up data from all linked accounts. To break results out by account, use the **Company** field. To go back to one account, select **All accounts** in the header, then select your account name. Custom fields don't roll up across accounts. Switch to a single account to report on them. Hide Cost still applies in the rolled-up view. If you see "Multi-Account Analytics isn't available for this account," your account isn't linked to an organization. Contact your account representative to set it up. ### **Using the Analytics AI Chatbot** The chatbot offers preset topics for deeper exploration, or you can type a custom question.
