Change the **color of text and shapes and thickness of lines.** 5. **Crop **your photo. 6. **Undo or redo changes.** 7. **Save changes and exit** the editing screen. --- ### For iOS #### Navigation There are two ways to go about importing or taking a photo from within the JobNimbus Mobile App. #### To Add Photos From the Home Page: - Click the** + icon** in the top right corner and select **Photo** from the menu, or choose the **Camera** option from the **Quick** **Links** menu. - **Search for the Job** **record** you wish to add the photo to. - The camera will automatically open once you select a Job. - From here you can **take a new photo** with the camera or  bypass taking a new photo and **upload an existing image** instead by tapping **Done**. #### To Add Photos From a Job Page - Navigate to the Job you want to associate a photo with. - Click the** + icon** in the top right corner and select **Photo** from the dropdown. - From here, you can **[add a photo from your library](https://support.jobnimbus.com/how-do-i-take-upload-and-edit-photos#upload-photo-ios) or [take a new photo.](https://support.jobnimbus.com/how-do-i-take-upload-and-edit-photos#take-photo-ios)** --- #### Uploading an Existing Photo - Once you have navigated to the next screen from either of the options above, select the **Photo Library** option to add an existing photo from your device. - **Select the photo or photos** that you would like to upload. - A blue checkmark will appear next to the selected file(s). - Select the **check mark button** at the top right of your screen once you have selected the desired photos. - Your selected photos will show in the photo gallery on the next page once they have uploaded. **Note:** - **Photo quality Settings on Web will override your Settings on Mobile.** If you notice an issue with the quality of your uploaded photos, you may need to **[adjust your photo quality Settings on Web](https://support.jobnimbus.com/how-do-i-adjust-my-image-quality?hsLang=en). ** --- #### Taking a New Photo - To take a new photo in your JobNimbus app, select the **Take Photo** option. - When the camera opens, you will see several icons with which you can interact. ![](https://support.jobnimbus.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Mar-10-2026-05-05-50-3119-PM.png?width=326&height=706&name=image-png-Mar-10-2026-05-05-50-3119-PM.png) Here, you can: 1. Toggle your **GPS coordinates** on or off. 2. Toggle the option for **Date and Time stamps** on or off. 3. Adjust your **zoom settings.** 4. Adjust your **flash settings.** 5. **Flip your camera** to front or back-facing camera. 6. Adjust your **camera settings** for use within JobNimbus by selecting the gear icon. 7. **Take photos.** 8. **Bypass** the camera to view photos that have already been saved to the record. --- #### Editing a Photo - Navigate to the **Job** record where your photo is located and select **Photos.** - Select the photo you want to edit and tap the **pen icon.** - There are a number of options to edit your photo. Select a **pen or highlighter tool.** 2. **Change the color** of the pen or highlighter tools. 3. Select the **+ button** to open more options. 1. Add a **description.** 2. Add a **sticker.** 3. Add **text** to your photo. 4. Add a **signature box**. 5. Add **shapes.** 6. Add a **loupe** to magnify a selected area of your photo. - Select the **checkmark button** when you are finished editing to save your changes. --- ### For Android Devices #### Navigation There are two ways to go about importing or taking a photo from within the JobNimbus Mobile App. #### To Add Photos From the Home Page - Click the **Plus button** on the bottom right of the home screen. - Select the **Photo** option. - **Search for the record ** that you would like to add your photos to by tapping the **Search bar and typing in the Job or Contact name.** - Once you have selected the desired record, the app will open your camera within JobNimbus. - From here you can [take a photo](https://support.jobnimbus.com/how-do-i-take-upload-and-edit-photos#take-photo-android) or [add existing photos](https://support.jobnimbus.com/how-do-i-take-upload-and-edit-photos#add-existing-photo-android) from your device. #### To Add Photos from a Contact or Job - Navigate to the desired record. - Select the **camera icon** to [take a photo](https://support.jobnimbus.com/how-do-i-take-upload-and-edit-photos#take-photo-android) or [add existing photos](https://support.jobnimbus.com/how-do-i-take-upload-and-edit-photos#add-existing-photo-android) from your device. --- #### Taking a New Photo - To take a photo, select the **camera icon.** - When the camera opens, you will see several icons with which you can interact. ![](https://support.jobnimbus.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jan-22-2025-08-01-09-1122-PM.png?width=326&height=669&name=image-png-Jan-22-2025-08-01-09-1122-PM.png) From here, you can:  1. **Adjust your camera settings**, including: 1. Toggle GPS coordinates. 2. Toggle Date and time stamps. 3. Adjust photo upload quality. 2. **Add GPS coordinates.** 3. **Add Date and Time Stamps.** 4. Adjust your **zoom.** 5. **Adjust your flash.** 6. **Flip your camera** to front or rear camera 7. **Take photos.** 8. Tap **Done** once you are finished taking photos. --- #### Adding an Existing Photo - To add an existing photo from your device, tap the **+Photo** button if there are no photos already on the Job. - Select the **From photo roll **option. - **Select the photos** you would like to upload, then tap the **Done button** in the bottom right corner.  **Note:** If you are not currently within range of data or wifi, the photo will be cached in your mobile app and will upload as soon as you have wifi or data. --- #### Editing a Photo - Navigate to the **Job** record where your photo is located. - Select thephoto you want to edit and click the **pencil icon** at the bottom of the page. - There are a number of options to edit your photo. ![](https://support.jobnimbus.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jul-01-2024-08-10-43-2878-PM.png?width=326&height=724&name=image-png-Jul-01-2024-08-10-43-2878-PM.png) 1. **Crop and turn** your photo. 2. **Drag and move** your photo. 3. **Zoom** in on a specific area by tapping on the photo. 4. Easily **draw arrows.** 5. **Draw** using the pen icon. 6. **Add text.** 7. **Add shapes and magnify** parts of your photo  8. **Lasso** around the shapes you've added from #4 to adjust placement and size. 9. **Change the color and thickness of the lines and shapes** you can  add in #4 and #5. -
