How Do I Troubleshoot My Insights Data?

Before contacting JobNimbus Support for issues you may encounter, attempt the troubleshooting steps outlined in this article

Troubleshooting Data 

  1. Check the last sync time to verify that the data you are looking for has had time to sync to the report.

  2. Ensure that there are no conflicting filter combinations that might be causing the issue

    •  For example, if you have filters set for "Current Status - Lead" and "Current Stage - Sold" simultaneously, you'll likely end up with no data displayed due to the conflicting nature of these filters

      ⚠️  If you see No Data under the Sales Tab, confirm you are using Estimates 

  3. Review your workflows and look out for any empty (none) stages that might be impacting your data

  4. Identify a job, contact, estimate, etc. that seems problematic

    • Filter your view to that particular record in the "Sales Data" tab

  5. Double-check that the dates you've chosen align with the data you are hoping to analyze. Adjusting the date range may reveal the missing or conflicting information you're looking for

  6. Confirm that you have estimates for all relevant jobs and contacts you wish to include in your data. If there are missing estimates for specific records, it can lead to incomplete or skewed insights. Review your estimate coverage and ensure that all necessary data points are accounted for.


  • Data is updated hourly. 
  • Deleted financial records may show on the Sales Data Page if the Financial record was in the Draft, Sent, Open, or Approved Status when deleted. Best Practice - Void financial records to zero out the values on the record and will prevent the record from reporting in Insights.
  • Insights is restricted by Sales Rep for Limited Access Profiles. If a user has Limited Access, they will only be able to see Contacts/Jobs that they are Sales Reps of. Group Managers and Assignees are not supported currently.
