How Do I Use Board Filters?

Adding filters to your Boards can help you see the most pertinent information at a glance.

Filtering Boards on Web

On the web version of JobNimbus, there are two different kinds of Board filters that can be used.

Static Filters

  • Static Filters apply to all information within the Board and affect all users. These can only be adjusted by editing the Board.

    • To edit the Board, click the three dots in the top right corner of the Board and select Edit Board.
  • Here, you can filter by Workflow or Type, Location, Subcontractor, Assignee, or Sales Rep.


Dynamic Filters

  • Dynamic Filters are user-specific and do not affect other team members on the account. They are located within the Board view itself. 
  • Here, you can filter by Workflow or Type, Assignee, Sales Rep, Location, or Subcontractor. You may also filter by Group by clicking on the Groups dropdown.




Filtering Boards on iOS

  • Click on the three horizontal lines in the top right-hand corner to reveal a list of filters.
  • Swipe left or right to navigate the options detailed below. Selecting a filter will pull up a menu at the bottom of your screen.
    • Location
      • If  you have several locations you can choose which cards to see from a specific location.
    • Type
      • Choose to only show the Cards of Contacts or Jobs that belong to a specific Workflow.
    • Sales Rep
      • Reveal Cards of records that a specific Sales Rep is associated with.
    • Assignee
      • Only show Cards of records to which a specific team member is assigned.
    • Subcontractor
      • View only Cards of records to which a specific Subcontractor is related.
    • Show Archived
      • Here you can choose to show or hide Cards that fall under an archived List. Find additional information about archiving in this article.
