I Am Unable To Edit Workflow Statuses. What Can I Do?

When attempting to update a Status in one of your Workflows, there sometimes arises some odd behavior that simple troubleshooting steps typically alleviate.

When I move a Lost Status to the bottom of the list, it jumps to the top of the list and changes to the None Stage.

  • Adding an additional Lost Status makes the previous one more stable. Try adding a new Lost Status and then making the needed changes to the original Status.
  • Once the changes are saved, you can delete the Lost status you made to stabilize the original if needed.

When I try to edit the None Stage for an existing Status, the Stage keeps reverting back to None.

  • This typically happens with older Statuses that have been in the system for a while. They will not adopt a new Stage when edited.
  • When experiencing this issue, you will have to create a new Status with the desired Stage.

Tip: Move all of your Contacts/Jobs to the new Status you created before deleting the old one. Bulk editing your Custom Reports makes this quick and easy to do.

I'm trying to drag a Status in the Lost Stage in between a Sold and In Production Stage, but it jumped to the top of the list.

  • Try again. The second time it should go to the expected position.
  • If the issue persists, log out and log back into JobNimbus before trying again.

Advanced Workflow Statuses are not populating when I edit or create a new Status in my Workflow.

  • If you encounter this issue, try logging out of JobNimbus and back in before trying again.
  • If the issue persists, try clearing your cache on your browser and then try again.
