Leap Integration

JobNimbus and Leap have partnered to bring the best in-home selling tool to the market.

Setup the Integration

I. Retrieve an API Key

  1. As a JobNimbus Administrator, proceed to the API section of your JobNimbus Settings.
  2. Select New API Key
  3. From the “Description” drop-down select or input Leap
  4. For the “Access Profile”, select an Admin profile or a profile with Settings access.
  5. Select Save
  6. A new API Key entry will be available. To the right of the API key, select Copy. The API will now be in your computer’s clipboard.

II. Link JobNimbus to Leap

  1. Login to Leap. From the navigation bar on the left,  select the “Integrations” drop-down option.
  2. Select JobNimbus
  3. Within the “API Key” field, paste your newly created API key.
  4. Select Save

III. Tell Leap to Fetch Appointments from JobNimbus

  1. From the navigation bar on the left, select the “App Settings” drop-down option.
  2. Select Appointments.
  3. Within Appointment Settings window, locate the “Source” drop-down field. Select JobNimbus.
  4. Within the JobNimbus Settings window, select the drop-down for “Activity Types”. Select all desired Activity Types to be used with the integration.
  5. In the top-right of the page, select Save.

IV. Tell Leap to Disposition/Result Your Lead

  1. From the navigation bar on the left, select the “App Settings” drop-down option.
  2. Select Results
  3. From Results Settings window, locate the “APIs” drop-down field. Select JobNimbus.
  4. Within the Results window, locate the field for “Lead Result”. In the drop-down to the right titled “JobNimbus Customer Workflow Picker”, you are able to select a desired contact workflow status.
  5. In the top-right of the page, select Save.

*The email address and phone numbers will also update in JobNimbus

V. Tell Leap to Send Contracts to Your JobNimbus Record

  1. From the navigation bar on the left, select the “App Settings” drop-down option.
  2. Select Contract Sending
  3. From Contract Sending Settings window, locate the “APIs” drop-down field. Select JobNimbus.
  4. In the top-right of the page, select Save.

VI. Tell Leap to Send Proposals to Your JobNimbus Record

  1. From the navigation bar on the left, select the “App Settings” drop-down option.
  2. Select Proposal Sending.
  3. From Proposal Sending Settings window, locate the “APIs” drop-down field. Select JobNimbus.
  4. In the top-right of the page, select Save.

VII. Tell Leap to Send Reports to Your JobNimbus Record

  1. From the navigation bar on the left, select the “App Settings” drop-down option.
  2. Select Report Sending.
  3. From Report Settings window, locate the “APIs” drop-down field. Select JobNimbus.
  4. In the top-right of the page, select Save.

User's Leap Login Different Than Their JobNimbus Login

If a user’s Leap email address is different than their Jobnimbus email address, they will need to add this email address to their Leap user’s settings. They can do this by:

  1. From the left-hand navigation menu, select UsersSelect the pencil icon to the right of the user’s name in the Action column (not pictured).
  2. Within the “Credentials” table, select Add.
  3. From the Endpoint drop-down select JobNimbus.
  4. Within the username field, input the email address associated with the JobNimbus user’s account.
  5. In the top-right of the page, select Save.

*Note: Leap will use a user’s account email as a default. Only if this email address is different from the email address associated with your JobNimbus account, should you add an entry to the “Credentials” table.

How To Use the Integration

1) Create a contact or job and task. Assign the record and task to a sales rep.

2) Within the Leap mobile app, select Estimates.

3) Select Customer.

4) A calendar with the tasks synced from JobNimbus will appear. Select the desired task.

5) The contact information for the parent contact or job will appear. Select Done.

6) Create an Estimate. Selecting Save will send a PDF copy of the Estimate to your contact or job.

7) To result/disposition of the customer, select Results.

8) To record a non-sale, select No-Sale. To record a successful sale, select Sale.

9) Proceed to complete all mandatory fields including "Stage". This will be the status of the contact/job updated in JobNimbus. Select Save.

10) The contact/job will now be updated in JobNimbus:

11) If you've enabled Contract, Proposal or Report Sending during the integration setup process, created PDFs can be synced to the contact/job record.

  • Fields/appointment types/custom fields not showing within Leap.
  • Issues within the Leap mobile app.
  • Issues with files not sending back to a JobNimbus contact.
  • Issues with a lead/task not being updated in JobNimbus.
