How Do I Update My JobNimbus Email Reply Notifications and Respond to Emails?

How an email is sent from JobNimbus will determine who on your team is notified of the response.

Email Settings

  • To change your email reply notification settings, click on your profile picture or initials in the top right corner, then select Settings.
  • On the Settings menu on the left, select the Email option under the General Settings section.
  • Here, you will find your JobNimbus email address, your email forward address, and your email notification options.
  • You can also check the box for "Show incoming email attachments in the Documents or Photos tabs?" to have attached photos and documents import into the associated Job's Photos tab or Documents tab.


Notifications Settings

There are four email reply notification options that you can choose from in the notification dropdown. 

  1. All Contact Assignees: All users in the Contact's assignee field will receive reply notifications.
    1. This is the default email notification setting in your account. 
  2. Job - Sales Rep Only: Only users in the Job's Sales Rep field will receive notifications.
  3. Job - All Assigned Only: Only users in the Job's assignee field will receive notifications.
  4. Job - Sales Rep and All Assigned: Users in both the Sales Rep field and users in the Job's Assignee field will receive notifications.

Responding to an Email Reply

  • To reply to the customer’s response email, do so directly from JobNimbus.

If you reply from your notification email, it will not work and your customer will not receive your response.

  • Select the blue hyperlinked words (“an email”) listed in the body of said message to be automatically navigated to a view of the email in your JobNimbus account. 

  • From the email view in JobNimbus, select the 3 dots in the top right and choose Reply All.

Tip: If you cannot find the notifying email in your Primary inbox, try checking your other folders (i.e. "Promotions", "Spam", "Junk", "Social").

To ensure these emails go to your Primary inbox, configure your email server's settings so that messages from JobNimbus always land where you want them to.
