Why am I seeing an Unnamed Product?

When adding a new product in your estimates, you may see them come through as an unnamed product.

What is an "Unnamed Product"?

An "Unnamed Product" in your Products and Services or your Quickbooks account is the result of adding new items on your Estimate without linking it in JobNimbus.

 

How do I know if it will be Unnamed? 

When adding a new item in an Estimate without adding it in your Products and Services first, there will be a grey + button in the bottom right corner of the Item field. 

In order to link this item in JobNimbus, select the grey + button shown above. This will open a sidebar on the right side of the page where you can fill in the new product information. 

Once you are done filling out the product information, click the Save button at the bottom of the screen.

Now that the item has been added, it will display a link icon instead of a +.

 

Now that you have added the new item as a named item, it will show in your Products and Services and QuickBooks under the new name.
