Syncing Your Calendar

Will All of My Team Members See My Google Calendar Events on Their JobNimbus Calendars?

Depending on the selected sync type when initiating your connection with Google Calendar, other team members may have access to these events.

The different sync types are:

  • 2-way sync for ONLY JobNimbus Tasks - This will allow Tasks created in JobNimbus to be synced to your Google Calendar. Changes made to your Tasks in either calendar will sync to the other, although events created in Google Calendar will NOT sync to JobNimbus
  • 2-way sync for both JobNimbus Tasks AND Google Calendar Events - This will allow Tasks created in JobNimbus and events created in Google Calendar to be synced in both directions; any changes made to them in either calendar will also reflect in both.
  • 1-way sync for ONLY JobNimbus Tasks - This will allow Tasks created in JobNimbus to be synced with Google Calendar, but only changes made in JobNimbus will sync over to Google Calendar. You will not be able to make changes in Google Calendar and have those changes sync with JobNimbus.

If you choose to sync your Google Calendar events with JobNimbus, team members with access to your calendar will be able to see those events.

 

Tip: 

You can add events to other team members' JobNimbus Calendars by adding them as a guest on the Google Calendar Event invitation.

They must also have a 2-way sync enabled with their Google and JobNimbus accounts.
