How Do I Create an Automation to Request a Referral From a Former Customer?

This Time-based Automation will send an email to a customer once it has been moved into a certain Status.

Prior to setting up this Automation, create an Email Template.

Recipe:

  • Choose the Time based trigger type
  • Select the Contact trigger record
  • Enter this information in the timeframe dropdowns: X (Where X is the amount of time in Minutes, Hours, Days, Weeks, Months, or Years) After and Date Status Changed.
  • Select +Add Condition
    • If Status is Paid & Closed
  • Save the Condition
  • Select +Add Action
  • Choose the Send Email Action
    • Click Continue
  • Select the appropriate Email Template from the drop-down menu
  • Choose your intended recipient(s)
  • Save the Automation when you are finished
