Why Can’t I Delete an Estimate or Invoice?

If you do not have the correct access to delete financials, or if an estimate has been sent for signature, they cannot be deleted.

  1. Verify that your assigned Access Profile has the correct permissions to allow you to delete financial documents.
    1. Access Profile assignments can only be configured by those with Settings access.
  2. If Required Signers have been added, you cannot delete or edit the document in any way.
    1. Refer to the following message that appears when sending a signature request:

  3. If a financial document has been sent for signature, it cannot be deleted as it is considered legally binding.
