Details Drawer

 

Let's first take a look at the new Details Drawer menu. We can quickly do many of the tasks you may be accustomed to in the previous JobNimbus System without having to navigate to other pages to create them, saving you time.

  1. Status of Job - Here you can see or change the status of the job you are currently viewing, as well as the number of days this job has been in that status.
  2. Job Photo - Clicking on the Upload Photo will allow you to search your device for an image of the Job.
  3. Job Address - You can click on the address to get directions, click the Copy button, or edit the address by clicking on the Pencil Icon.
  4. Job Options - Some options are Add Notes, Send Emails, Add Tasks, Send Texts, and More, which allow you to create documents in the Financial section of JobNimbus.
  5. Details - You can add a description of the Job, edit the Job Type, and Lead Source. Clicking Show More will give you aditional information like Tags, QuickBooks Status, Archived Status and who the Job was created by.
  6. Related Contacts - The Primary Contact will always be on top, with the Primary Contact tag next to it. The three-dot menu to the right gives you options to Go To Contact, Remove From Job, and Make Primary Contact, only if there is a secondary contact.


Overview

 

Navigating to the left sidebar and selecting Overview will show you a variety of information regarding your job in JobNimbus.

We can see the Job Status, Financial Summary information, Tasks, and the Activity related to the Job.

 


Activity

 

Selecting the Activity tab on the left will show you what's happening with the Job so far.

Here we can see all the activities that have happened on a job in chronological order, starting with the newest activity first. The added features of searching, filtering for activity types, or changing the sort order allow you to customize what you only want to see.

 


 

Fields

 

This tab shows all the Custom Fields you have for your Jobs. You can enter responses to these fields here if you didn't fill them in during the Job creation.

Clicking on the Settings icon on the right side will take you to the Field Editor, where you can edit, add, delete, or archive a Custom Field. Click the link to learn How to Create Custom Fields.


 

Tasks

 

Selecting Tasks on the left side menu will give you a list of all tasks in JobNimbus. 

The filter on the right-hand side will allow you to search for different Task Types or Assignees.

To add a task, go to the Details Drawer on the right side and click the Add Task button.

Next, you'll have options to add the Task Name, select the Task Type, enter in a Description, Priority, Start and End Date and Times, and select the Assignee.

Once finished, click the blue Add button at the top, and a new task will be added to the task list.

Task can also be view by clicking on the Incomplete and Compeded tabs for more filtering.


Documents

 

Clicking on the Documents Tab will show you all documents that have been uploaded or created in the JobNimbus system.

To upload a document, click on Upload File to the top right and navigate to the file you'd like to add to the job on your device.

 

Clicking on the three dots on the right-hand side of each document provides you a few options to edit, download, and delete the documents.


 

Forms

 

The forms section is where you can find all responses to all the forms that have been filled out by either you or a team member. 

To create a form, click on the Settings and follow this article to create forms

 

Custom Documents

 

Navigating to the Custom Documents tab will show you a list of all custom documents you've used on the Job you've selected.

To create a custom document, click on Create Document on the upper right, and that will bring you to the Custom Document Builder. For more information on how to build a Custom Document, click here.

 


Photos

 

To view the photos of a job, click on Photos on the left side navigation bar.

When you first come to the Photos tab in JobNimbus, you'll need to add photos. Click the upload button and navigate to the photos on your computer or mobile device.

Once selected, you can assign an Attachment Category, make the visibility Public or Private, and add a Description to the photos.

Click Upload, and your photos will be added to your Job. Photos can be filtered by Team Members, a Date Range, and Attachment Category.


Estimates

 

Navigating to the Estimates on the left side menu will show you a list of all estimates created for a particular job.

To create a new Estimate, click on the Create button on the right and select Estimate. Choose any of the templates to start creating. To learn more about creating estimates, click here.

Here are a few other things to be aware of:

  1. Estimate Number - The unique number of your Estimate. Clicking on this will allow you to view a PDF of the estimate.
  2. Estimate Date - The date the Estimate was created.
  3. Signature Status - Shows the status of the Estimate regarding the customer's signature.
  4. Status of the Estimate - Indicates the status of your Estimate. The Statuses are draft, sent, approved, denied, invoiced, and void.
  5. Internal Notes - Any Internal Notes added to the Estimate will appear here.
  6. Total - The Estimate total.

 

Clicking on the three-dot menu to the right of an estimate will give you the options to Edit, Duplicate, Convert to Budget, Material Order, Work Order, or Invoice, and finally, the ability to Delete the invoice.


Work Order and Material Orders

 

Navigating to the Material and Work Orders will show you both these items.

You can create a new Material and Work Order by clicking on the Create button and selecting either Material Order or Work Order. Click on these links to learn more about Material Orders or Work Orders.

Some key features of this page are:

Material Order

  1. Material Order Number - Clicking on this will show you the PDF of the Material Order.
  2. Supplier - Lists the supplier selected on the Material Order, if any.
  3. Material Order Date - The date the Material Order was created.
  4. Internal Note - Shows any internal notes added to the Material Order.
  5. Status - Shows the status of whether the Material Order is in a Draft mode or has been Sent.

Work Order

  1. Work Order Number - Clicking on this will show you the PDF of the Work Order.
  2. Type - Lists the type of Work Order it is.
  3. Work Order Date - The date the Work Order was created.
  4. Internal Note - Shows any internal notes added to the Work Order.
  5. Status - Shows the progress of the Work Order.

Both the Material and Work Orders have three-dot menus to the right, which allow you to View, Download, Edit, Duplicate, Email, Convert to another file in JobNimbus, and Delete.



Profit Tracker

Clicking on the Profit Tracker tab will take you to a new page in JobNimbus. Here you can add estimates, Material Orders, and Work Orders to view important financial information and track commissions.
