What is JobNimbus Financing?
A way to offer homeowners a monthly payment plan right on the estimate. They apply and accept without leaving the estimate, you do the job, and you get paid by ACH once they confirm the work is done. The loans are funded by the integrated lender/lending platform. Your side of it runs in JobNimbus. Check out What is JobNimbus Financing? for a more detailed overview.
What lenders are currently integrated into JobNimbus Financing?
Wisetack is currently the first partner to offer financing (through their lending partners) with the full JobNimbus Financing integration, with more lenders planned in the future. Wisetack funds and services the loan; JobNimbus is where you offer it, apply for it, and track it.
What's the difference between adding my own financing option to an Estimate and JobNimbus Financing?
Before JobNimbus Financing, you could add your own lender's financing option to an estimate, or use the existing Sunlight Financial integration, both are still live and supported today. JobNimbus Financing is the newer, broader capability: it's the full loan lifecycle (offer, apply, approve, and track) running entirely inside JobNimbus with a lending partner, so you and the homeowner never have to leave the job to do any of it.
I already offer financing through another provider. Do I have to switch?
No. JobNimbus Financing is an option that sits alongside what you're already using. You control which Estimates include it, and you can keep any other financing options you already have in place.
Do I need a Wisetack account already?
If you already use Wisetack outside JobNimbus, connect your existing account. Otherwise, you can create a new Wisetack account. You'll keep the same lender relationship with fewer steps. If you don't have one yet, you can apply from inside JobNimbus. Check out How Do I Connect My Wisetack Account? to get started.
What do I need to get approved?
Your company's Federal EIN, basic information on anyone who owns 25% or more of the business, and a business bank verification. There's no personal credit check on the business itself. See How Do I Connect My Wisetack Account? for the full setup steps.
Does checking a customer's eligibility affect their credit?
No. Your customer sees what they qualify for through a soft credit pull or "Prequal", which doesn't affect their credit score. There's no impact until they sign a loan agreement. At that point, it's reflected on their credit report.
What does JobNimbus Financing cost?
Nothing from JobNimbus. There's no setup fee, subscription, or per-transaction charge. Wisetack charges a 3.9% merchant fee taken when the loan is paid out to you, which is a standard cost of offering financing.
What size Jobs can be financed?
JobNimbus Financing covers Jobs up to $65,000, depending on your approval level and the customer's credit.
Can I send financing from the Mobile App?
Yes. Prequals, loan applications, status tracking, QR codes, and payment requests all work in the Mobile App. This means your reps can send applications from the field.
Do I have to offer financing on every Job?
No. You choose which Estimates include a financing option.
How does my customer apply for financing?
Your customer applies and accepts terms from wherever you add financing: a specific Estimate or a PreQual link sent from the Financing tab on the Job. Check out How Do I Add Financing to an Estimate? to learn how to turn it on.
When do I get paid?
You're paid once the Job is done and your customer confirms it. Send the confirmation from inside JobNimbus. This texts your customer to confirm the work is finished, and the ACH transfer starts the next business day. It typically lands in one to three business days, depending on your bank.
With Progress Payments, you're paid in two parts, as your customer releases each payout.
What if the customer loses the application link?
Open the loan and select Resend Loan, copy the link, or have the customer scan the QR code in person.
Where do I see the status of a loan?
On the Job record. Applications, approvals, and payments all live with the Job, so anyone on your team can check without logging into a separate portal. Check out How Do I Track Financing and Get Paid on a Job? for the full record and status details.
Can my customer pay in two payouts?
Yes, if Wisetack approves your account for Progress Payments. Progress Payments splits one loan of $1,000 to $25,000 into two payouts: up to 50% when the Job starts, and the rest once the work is done. Check out What Are Progress Payments? to learn about the requirements and how to apply.
Note: All financing is subject to credit approval. Your terms may vary. Payment options through Wisetack are provided by our lending partners. For example, a $5,500 purchase could cost $253.54 per month for 24 months, based on a 9.9% APR, or $1,833.33 per month for 3 months, based on a 0% APR. Offers range from 0 to 35.9% APR based on amount requested and creditworthiness. Not all merchants and lending partners participate in 0% interest programs. Terms range from 3 - 120 months and may vary based on merchant, lending partner, or transaction size. State interest rate caps may apply. No prepaid finance charges or participation fees.
