How Do I Transfer My Number From Engage to Another Carrier?

How to port the number that you use in Engage to a different carrier.

To port your numbers away from Engage, you will need to contact the carrier to which you’d like to port your numbers (e.g., Verizon, AT&T). Most carriers require you to fill out a Letter of Authorization, or LOA. Please note that portability rules vary by country, and not all countries provide for portability. Nevertheless, in countries where porting is available, the process generally works as described here.

Your new carrier may be ask for the following information:
  • Your full name (as written in your Engage registration)
  • Account SID
  • Service Address
  • Your business telephone number
  • A PIN number
  • A billing document or proof of ownership

Please be aware that if you choose to port your number to another carrier,  it will no longer receive messages from Engage.
