Know how to troubleshoot potential errors that might occur while importing your Contacts.

"Duplicate contact exists. You can fix this by passing in a unique Display Name"

  • Go back through your CSV file and search the data using Ctrl+F (Command+F on Mac). Although Contacts can have the same first and last name, the display names must be unique in order for the import to be successful.
  • Update the display name column within the CSV file so that no two are the same, save the file, and then begin the import process again, using the newly updated version.
