How Can I Track Commissions With Profit Tracker?
Learn how to use the Commissions feature with the JobNimbus Profit Tracker.
Please be aware that this feature is currently in Beta. If you would like to sign up for early access to this feature, click here.
Within the JobNimbus Profit Tracker, you can track commissions for your sales reps using the Commissions feature.
Using Commissions
Within the Profit Tracker, click on the Commissions button on the sidebar on the left-hand side of the page.
Here, you can add the planned commission amount you would like to pay either as a dollar amount or a percentage.
Once this is done, the Assigned field will turn orange and display a caution icon to alert you that the commission amount has not yet been assigned. To assign the amount, select the blue Add Salesperson button at the bottom of the page.
Here, you can:
- Add a Salesperson.
- Enter the percentage of the payout you would like them to receive (if you have more than one salesperson added, you can break up the payouts between them).
- Enter the Date of the payout.
- Add a Description.
- Add the Percentage of their total payout you would like to disburse to them.
- Adjust the Payout Amount.
- Note: If you change this amount, the percentage will automatically adjust.
- Mark the Payout as Paid or Delete the Payout.
- Add additional Payouts.
Once you have added the payout for the salesperson, you can click the blue Show More button at the bottom of the page to see the calculated totals with your commissions included.
When adding payouts, amounts that have not yet been paid will affect the Planned Cost and Planned Profit metrics in your Summary sidebar. Payouts that have been marked as paid will affect the Actual Cost and Actual Profit metrics.
