What is an ID number?
Everything you create in JobNimbus is tied to an ID number.
To access your ID numbers:
- Click on your profile icon or initials in the top right corner
- Select Settings from the drop-down menu
This will open your General tab in Settings where your ID numbers are. Your ID numbers are detailed in the drop-down menus next to "Next record ID".
ID numbers default to start at 1,001, but they can be customized. To change the next ID number, use the drop-down menu and choose the number you wish to populate next.
These numbers can be seen in the information panel of any record. (i.e. Contact, Job, Document, Task, or any financial document). Some ID numbers are visible to your Contacts, such as the ID number on an estimate or invoice.
