How Can I Move a Contact or Job Into Another Status Using the Boards? (Web)

You can change the Statuses of your records by physically moving Cards within the Boards.

Note:

Cards can only move from one List to another if the assigned Statuses belong to the same Workflow. Learn more about this here.


Simply drag and drop the Card to the appropriate List to change the Status of that Contact. 

In the example below, I move Jane Tester from the Pending Payments List, which contains Contacts who are in the Status of "Pending Payments", to the Job Close Out List, which is home to Contacts in the "Job Close Out" Status.

As a result, Jane Tester is now assigned to the Status of "Job Close Out".
