Overview of how to use the Sales / Job Pipeline Reports and how the current statuses checkbox works.
The Sales / Job Pipeline Reports use the recorded time a contact/job passes through a specific status marked as lead or sold in the respective workflow in the Settings. In this way, these reports will show you data based on the occurrence of when that change in status occurred and reflect those statuses in groups of statuses under each active Sales Rep in a specific time period.
The current statuses need to be checked to make sure you don't have duplicates. The dash means has not been sold for the lead. The date is when it became sold.
Additionally, you can create a jobs report in reports ---> my saved reports ---> create jobs report
You can add the lead sources to that report and see the sales rep.
Calculation: There are a total of 2 leads, 1 is sold. The formula is 1/2 +1-1 = 50%
Or: 1(sold)/ 2 (leads) + 1 (sold) - 1 (duplicate) = 50%
Another way to look at this equation:
A = Total Number of Jobs Sold for Sales Rep
B = Total Number of Jobs Recorded as Lead for Sales Rep
C = Total Number of Jobs Recorded as both Lead and Sold for Sales Rep
Close Ratio = A/(B+(A-C))
Common Issues / Tips of Advice:
1.) Current Status:
Having this report will make the report based on where your records (jobs and contacts) sit in their respective workflows currently (i,e. if they are currently only a lead or sold). If you turn this off, it will show each status that records have passed through applicable to the Stage "Lead" or "Sold" in the system. The use of this checkbox is heavily dependent on your needs for the system. If you need things to specifically to show how they are currently, keep it checked. If you want to see a detailed breakdown of each status and date, uncheck it.
2.) Multiple flags per workflow:
We suggest the use of only one "is lead" and one "is sold" flag per workflow. This prevents duplicate entries when the current statuses are turned off on the pipeline reports.
As a JobNimbus Admin, from the top right of the page, select your name -> Select Settings -> Select contact workflows -> Hover over the desired customer contact workflow -> Select the ellipse icon -> Select edit -> Note the statuses which should and shouldn't be marked as lead/sold -> Hover over the desired status -> Select the ellipse icon -> Select edit -> Apply or remove the flag by checking/unchecking the correlating checkbox -> Save the status -> Repeat for each needed status -> Update the workflow.

3.) Custom Fields
One last piece of advice, custom number/currency fields corresponding to each report (contact fields with the Sales Pipeline Report and job fields with the Jobs Pipeline Report) can be used instead of invoice or estimate amount.
The workflow must be set up correctly from the beginning. The calculation will only be correct if one status is marked as lead and one is marked as sold. If you go back and edit the workflow the changes will only apply to the future. The contact database and job database are separate. If you want to track estimates be mindful of where the estimate was created (job/contact). Through unchecking the related checkbox you can see where the estimate was created. If you uncheck the box and the estimate is still there then it was created in that location.
